Allan Brownrigg

Every Child Matters in Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services

Allan Brownrigg is a Senior Lecturer in Child Welfare at Northumbria University with qualifications in social work, systemic practice and cognitive therapy. His practice has centred upon mental health work within children, young people and family settings, and his research interests are in self injury, suicidal ideation, and resilience.

More recently Allan has practiced as a cognitive behavioural psychotherapist specialising in the treatment of trauma.
